We Three Snowmen

Hello everyone, Caroline here, and I'm just sharing a card I posted on my blog today.

If you still have Christmas cards to make, this is a great, little idea for a quick and simple one.

I've used a 6 x 6 card blank as my base and stamped my sentiment straight onto it.

The image comes from a sheet of DP in the First Edition, Festive Treats pad.

This is a great paper to use, because it's lovely and thick and already glittered.

I cut out the snowmen and used a round, ended embossing tool to give them a little shape.

Then I stuck them onto the card with foam pads - and that's it... one quick card!

Halloween papers all through the year

Well hello.. Carrie calling!!

It's been a while since I posted here (sorry) and I made a card today using some yummy papers from the store.

Now the papers are Echo Park apothecary and are Halloween papers really so I went to put them away until next year.. but when I looked at them I realised a lot can be used all through the year..

So here is my slinky birthday card using apothecary papers:

Fancy Pants Baby cards.............

Hello there how are you all? I have 2 baby cards to show you today using Fancy Pants 'Baby Mine' paper.

I've made one for a boy & another is so I have one already made which would be suitable for either girl or boy.

I thought this would be suitable for both boys & girls cus a lot of parents now love neutral colours in a nursery.........so I thought I would go with natural type thing here lol.

This one of course is for the little prince.

This paper pad is just fabulous for any baby it has the most gorgeous patterns. This sheet I used by itself as it even has somewhere you can write personal details about the baby which I think is just fab!!

Hello everyone Vicky here today to show you a card I made last night using 1 of the gorgeous new Prima pads that Emma has instock at her store here.

These papers are gorgeous & I spent 15 minutes trying to decide which sheets to use first! These new pads are all soooooo beautiful & I think they are the best collection yet from Prima.

This is the paper pad I used Prima 'Printery' 6x6 pad be prepared to cry a little when cutting the paper tho I did lol.............luckily I didnt wet the paper lol.

I used Craftworks 6x6 card blank for my card, I used the On The Edge 'Petal Point' ones.

Craft With Kraft!...

Hi all! DT Jenny here to share a little inspiration with you.

Today I'm using one of my favourite staple craft items, Bazzill Smoothies kraft card. It is available to PRE ORDER over at Crafty Emma'a Store. I love to stamp straight onto it, especially using white ink as I have done here. It's also the perfect weight to go through your printer and print your images onto. I love colouring onto kraft...but I'll show you that another day!

I've also used Glamour Dust & Bakers Twine from Crafty Emma's Store.

These scrummy papers are MME Everyday flair..

They are so scrummy but then I do love most of the new MME paper pads lol..

If there's one thing that gets my mojo flowing it's Echo Park papers. I adore the vibrant collaboration of colours they use in their collections. Crafty Emma stocks a wide range of Echo Park 6x6 pads HERE.

Today I used 'A Walk In The Park'.

These mouth watering 'dew drops' are also available at Crafty Emma's Store HERE.

The card blank I used is one of the new 'On The Edge' ones now stocked by Emma HERE.

They make a lovely change from plain square blanks.

Have you seen the gorgeous new papers that CES has in store?

I can't resist lovely papers and one make, that is new to me,

is Authentique, check them out here

For this frame I used Authentique - Journey.

This project is so simple that it barely needs instructions. :-)

I started with a 12" x 12" deep frame.

I drew a thin, blue border on the paper and filled it with little hearts, die cut from the DP.

The hearts are attached with thick, sticky pads, so IRL they stand out and give a nice little shadow.

In place of a couple of hearts I used die cut letters for mine and hubby's initials.... ahhhhhh :-)

Of course you could use any size frame and any colour to match your decor.

You don't even have to stick to hearts, I have seen these using butterflies, apples, pears etc.

.... good afternoon! It's very wet here at the moment so what better crafting weather?? After having a tidy of my stash I came across some Gorjuss toppers. I have used Fancy Pants "It's the Little Things" 6x6 pad, Card Candi and Bakers Twine from Crafty Emma's Store to create this card:

Good morning all you lovely people how are you all? It's Vicky here today to show you a card made using some yummy Websters Pages items which Emma has on sale..........yes you heard right SALE.... now we all LUUUURRRRRVVVE a sale dont we, especially the crafty kind lol.

You gotta love Websters Pages their stuff is sooooo beautiful & really good quality.......I'm always sniffing the papers lol.....no other papers have the Websters quality smell mmmmmm lol.

All of these flowers are also from Crafty Emma's Store & I added some stickles to give a bit of bling cus you gotta have bling!!!!!!

The flowers used are 45 mm Aqua Blue Mulberry Daisies I love these they are my fave flower at the mo, so pretty. I also used 2.5cm white Cherry Blossoms & 15 mm Baby Blue Mini Blossoms. I also attached a white Heart Shaped pin.

The Websters Buttons are self adhesive & also come with twine which is fab.

Hello all...

Hope you are all well..

I am currently waiting for my postie (yes again!!) as I have ordered lot's of new goodies and need them all to arrive today or Friday so Sam can't see them (cause then I just pretend I have had them for ages lol!!!)

So while I am waiting I made a few cards. This one is an order for a girl at work..

I was told he is a 10 year old skate boarder.. so what better image that Whiff of Joy's Skater Ben stamp!!

Using Promarkers...

Good Morning...

I have a Promarker tutorial for you...now I am far from the best but hopefully I can share some tips with you.

The image I am using is Cherry Pip by Sugar Nellie stamped onto Smooth White Coated Card from Crafty Emma's Store.

I use the same method on all areas....starting with the lightest shade and then working up into darker colours. I then go over the whole area again with the lightest shade to blend...I don't tend to use the actual Blender as I find it takes too much colour out.

Generally working in circular motions to avoid getting lines in the colour. If you aren't happy with the finish just keep adding more colour until the achieve a result you are happy with.

Skin...Ivory / Vanilla / Blush / Saffron

Hair...Almond / Sandstone / Caramel / Cocoa

Dress...Pale Pink / Baby Pink / Cocktail Pink (Fine Nib - Salmon Pink)

Handbag & Socks...Pastel Blue / Cool Aqua / Duck Egg

Underskirt & Outline...Cool Grey 1

And here is my finished card....hope you likey.

ProMarker Storage Idea

Good afternoon - it's Sheena here! My favourite colouring medium is ProMarkers but it always annoyed me when I had to hunt around for the colours that I wanted! I saw this idea in a magazine and decided to give it a try! It's fab, easy to use but sadly not too portable!!

It's basically a DVD storage box from Ikea and DVD boxes without covers. In Microsoft Word I created boxes which I then named with the colours and a space to colour it in. I put the colours into order using one of the colour charts you get with the packets of ProMarkers - this makes it really easy to work out which ones to blend together! I then put the little tables along the spine of the DVD box. I put a coloured adhesive dot at the end of each pen to make it really easy to find the colour needed. Finally, I bought all the ProMarkers I was missing from Crafty Emma's Store and my collection was complete!
